Infor Mobility for Field Service (MFS) is a new mobility product designed to support the service technician while working in the field.
Comprehensive support information
Infor Mobility for Field Service will provide the service technician with a wide range of supporting information about the customer, contacts, and address details. Equipment information will include basic equipment data, service history, and meter information.
Throughout the life of the service assignment, the technician will be able to update the service center with the exact status of the work, indicating, start and stop travel activities, start, delay, and completion of the assignment itself.
Detailed reporting within Infor Mobility for Field Service will include parts usage, labor time, travel time, error codes, detailed repair notes, and capabilities to allow the customer to electronically sign off the work.
Follow-on activities: The technician will be able to create additional assignments for follow-on work discovered during service activities.
